Today BigE said his first word! He said "all done" when he was finished eating. We are so excited! Okay....so he didn't REALLY say the words with his mouth, but he signed them. When we realized that Carter was delayed with his speech and knew that it would be awhile before he was actually speaking we decided to start doing signing with him. We love the Signing Time DVDs and Carter could say quite a few words. It was so great that he had a way to communicate with us. We loved it so much that I have been working with BigE and using signs. Hopefully he'll catch on to more of them!

Yay! Since I sign, I've been teaching Jace (but I was lazy, so we only started a couple months ago). One day he signed "more eat please". I about fell over that this little person could communicate a whole thought! Time to start watching our language at home! Although, I must say - I thought BigE's first word would be "more" and not "all done"! Heehee. Yay, Easton!
Elle LOVED these videos too! Totally randomly sometimes she starts to sign. It makes me realize how much they know and learn. It is so great when they can communicate!
