We spent Christmas Eve at the Cooks. The guys hooked up a tube to the 4 wheelers and took the kids for rides. Carter wasn't too sure about it. (He gets his fear from his mom) He would kind of fake laugh when he heard Kasey laugh.
We then ate a yummy dinner with all of our favorites. Marlene (my mother-in-law) is a great cook and makes great food!
After dinner we gathered around and sang songs while Kelly played the guitar.
Then we opened up presents from everyone. Kelly and Marlene gave Carter this semi truck that has all these cars in the trailer. Saying that he loved it is an understatement. We joked around with him and told him "okay Carter, it's time to put it away" he started FREAKING out! For the next few days he was constanty worried about it and if we were gone he would ask where it was. He is still playing with it and loves it.
Brad and I got the best present ever. Marlene and Kelly gave us Hotels, the board game. Our old neighbors the Mile's had it and got it hooked. We have missed playing it. They don't make it anymore so you have to buy it on Ebay. We also received some other really great gifts.
It was a fun evening spending time together.
